President Barack Obama will speak at a political rally Friday at USC on the University Park campus that could attract 30,000.

Crime drops as city parks stay open late: Villaraigosa touts Summer Nights Lights program

In a year where Los Angeles was looking to cut everything that wasn't necessary, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa chose to take a stand behind a small program that makes a big difference in out neighborhoods.

Paint and Graffiti store paints the town red in Echo Park

The Montana Store comes to Echo Park, with everything from paint to pencils.Montana Cans is a designer spray-paint brand from Germany. It does sound cool.


But I know from attending a few Echo Park Chamber of Commerce meetings illegal graffiti is not cool.
