The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council's Public Safety Committee is hosting a public forum regarding the Glendale Blvd. Corridor (Echo Park) Gang Injunction Project.

A portion of the gang injunction covers an area of Silver Lake, as well as Echo Park, Frogtown and Historic Filipinotown.

Community leaders and representatives from the City Attorney's Office will be on the panel to provide information and answer questions.

WHERE: Holy Virgin Mary Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Micheltorena Street (just west of Silver Lake Blvd.)
WHEN: Monday, August 19, 5:30 (meet and greet and refreshments), to 8:00 p.m.
Business portion to start at 6:00 p.m.
WHY: Inform the community on both sides of the issue
