Zombies and more zombies in Echo Park, Silverlake and beyond this Halloween

Overly dramatic readings of classic comic books that would make Johnny Dollar proud, burlesque dancers, jazzy song sketches and more with a special twist for Halloween.

Captured Aural Fantasy Theater
performs comic book stories in the spirit of old radio shows live on stage.

Helmed by Chicago native, Venice local and EchoParkOnline.com member Ben Dickow, the Halloween version includes a seance.

They will have a cosmetic mortician will give you a Zombie makeover to prepare you to win that late night Halloween party costume contest. You don't see that every day.

October 29 and 30 at 8pm at WHERE gallery. They've played the Alexandria in Downtown LA and in Hollywood and have been written up in the LA Weekly and MTV Approved and even the comic book blog, The Horrors of It All. But they are all LA baby. Homegrown talent!

Zombies are getting as popular as vampies these days. The them continues at CitySip on Sunday, the actual Halloween night.



Author Ben Tripp will be reading an excerpt from Rise Again: A Zombie Thriller on Halloween, on Sunday, October 31 from 5 to 7 pm. at CitySip Echo Park. Thanks to EchoParkNow for the heads up.
