Stevie Wonder drops into EchoPlex, talks Apple iPad and Obama

The beloved icon Stevie Wonder spent the evening at the EchoPlex as DJ Spinna was hosting his yearly "Wonder-full" club night on Sept. 10.

But when Wonder spoke, he talked didn't talk about music but about politics, according to a lovely story by Haley Fox of KPCC.

He talked about meeting with President Barack Obama, jobs in America, and creating an environment that is friendlier to those with disability.

Which led to him to thank Steve Jobs, Apple's visionary.

"There's nothing on the iPhone or the iPad that you can do that I can't do," Wonder told the crowd. "I can be talking to you, you can be looking at me, I can be doing whatever I need to do ... and you don't even know what I'm doing."

View his speech below - and believe.

I recently saw Stevie on his birthday when he was brought on stage during Prince's run at the Coliseum. He played the keys like a master. The crowd just adored him and wouldn't let him leave. Very special moment. But imagine seeing him in the intimacy of the EchoPlex. WOW
