Bootie LA has been a part of The Echo and the Echoplex since 2005, which is why we're

proud to be an official after-party for Echo Park Rising, a free all-day festival that brings together local businesses on and around the Echo Park streets of Sunset, Glendale, and Echo Park Ave., celebrating music, independent art, local cuisine, and all around good times.

Echo Park is known for its independent music scene, so resident DJs Mysterious D, Faroff, and ShyBoy will be sprinkling in plenty of indie band mashups throughout the night, Performing the Midnight Mashup Show, as well as providing the go-go eye candy on stage, will be resident dance crew R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance). And of course, club photographers SceneSnaps will also be in the house with their Photo Booth, ready to capture all the action!

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by A Plus D -- aka DJs Adrian & Mysterious D -- Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Voted "Best Club Night" for the past six years, Bootie keeps your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party. Providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- and free mashup CDs given away like candy -- it's a place where everyone is welcome.
