Echo Park's news and social network
Council President Eric Garcetti's office will host a Town Hall Meeting July 20th to discuss the Echo Park Lake Rehabilitation Project. The City's Echo Park Lake Rehabilitation Project team will be on-hand to answer questions.
Though the city's Echo Park Lake website said a fence would be erected this week around the permieter, Jenny Burman of Chicken Corner said she was told thatconstruction wouldn'tstart until late summer.
None of the photos at the website show that the lotus will return, but The Eastsider LA promises the lotus will return when the lake opens in two years after an $84 million rehab.
