So You Think You Can DJ? Every Tuesday at Origami Vinyl in Echo Park

Krista Simmons has got us stoked on Origami Vinyl's Record Club at El Prado!Read her article about it here and here:

If you've got a wicked LP collection that you're jonesing to share with fellow vinyl freaks, Origami's Tuesday Record Club is your hang. Drop by to listen to some of your neighbors' collections, then sign up for the following week to play your own. Spots are limited (there's only eight per week), but when it's your turn to DJ you'll get a free beer or glass of wine for sharing your tunes. The folks from Origami will chat with you about the reason for each track selection and Tweet it live that night, so it's also a way to make some new friends in the social media-sphere.

(For those headed to Las Vegas this weekend for Matador 21, you'll have an extra chance to hang with the 'Gami gang: we broke the news last week that the record store would be curating the event's pop-up shop.)
