CD 13 candidate Mitch O’Farrell’s received  the endorsement of his former boss, Eric Garcetti, L.A. Mayoral candidate and District 13’s current City Councilmember. At the same time, Mitch has endorsed Eric for Mayor.

"Mitch O’Farrell is the best choice to carry on the work I’ve been doing in the 13th District. He deserves your vote,” Eric said, adding, “Mitch brings unmatched experience in the district to continue our forward momentum."

Mitch served on Eric’s staff for a decade, first as a Field Deputy and then as Senior Advisor. During these ten years, the two collaborated on District-enhancing projects across all of our neighborhoods, and his selecting Mitch as his preferred successor has special weight.

“I’m proud of what Eric Garcetti and I have been able to accomplish in the 13th District over the last 10 years,” said Mitch, “and I’m honored to receive his endorsement for City Council. Eric has been an enormous force for change in the 13th District, and we’re all better off because of it. I’m ready to lead this District on Day One, representing everyone, no matter where you're from, who you are, or what language you speak. Eric Garcetti and I will be partners in standing up for the values we both believe in, and I stand with him as the best choice for Mayor to bring needed change to City Hall. Our great working relationship will continue in our respective new roles."

Election Day is just 4 days away.
