The next CicLAvia is taking place this Sunday, October 8, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with hubs located in Chinatown, downtown Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, and right here in Echo Park.
The following streets in the 13th District will be closed during CicLAvia:

• Glendale Boulevard from Bellevue Avenue to Beverly Boulevard
• Bellevue Avenue from Echo Park Avenue to Glendale Boulevard

There are several crossing points throughout the route, and Temple Street will serve as one of those points in the 13th District. [MAP] Street closures will take place along Glendale Boulevard starting as early as 6:00 a.m., as the area will be secured strictly for cyclists, pedestrians, runners and skaters to use as a recreational space. 

The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) is advising vehicular traffic to expect medium-to-long delays on nearby streets. LADOT also wants to remind motorists to be alert to any uniformed officers and event participants such as cyclists and walkers.
