- Me and some friends founded the MSHL, the Metropolitan Street Hockey League in Echo Park back in the 70s.

- Let me tell you a bit about me:
- I moved to Echo Park from Bunker Hill as a little dude around 1962. At 10 years old I was reading dissertations on the tactics of Alexander the Great and the Caesars, ( Our Lady of Loretto Elementary had a great library back then)so needless to say, my neighborhood never lost a rock fight or a water balloon fight. Nothing like a pincer movement to rattle and put into flight the biggest Irish or Cholo kids. Later on, around 1972, we formed a Road Hockey league with sticks provided by the L.A. Sharks. Most of the guys on the teams were from the Belmont track team, which ruled the Northern League for ten straight years, GREEN MACHINE!!!! Been working at Kaiser for 34 years and writing short stories and doing a bit of animation and short films and gardening along the way. Been a Kings fan since 1967, and a season ticket holder since 2008.
