We checked Charles Flemings' "Secret Stairs" out of the library and tackled the longest treck through Echo Park - starting at Chango Coffee shop and ending at Delilah bakery (1,000 steps later - what a reward!)

Hi Eileen, I will be more specific about which stairs when I get a permanent copy of Fleming's book this weekend. I had to return my copy to the library. But I must not have started on the Laveta Terrace trek because I would have noted the Lot 1 reference. Have you taken that stroll - have any photos?

If not, when you do, please stop by Lot 1 (my place) and introduce yourself, because I was so excited to learn that the author had mentioned Lot 1 and I'd like to meet you!
