From Atlanta by way of Boston, it's the long-awaited Bootie LA debut of dj BC. As the infamous creator of "The Beastles" (Beastie Boys vs. Beatles), dj BC has crafted three albums in the series, with the recently-released "Ill Submarine" getting rave reviews from the LA Times and BoingBoing, as well as the same cease-and-desist order from the record labels that its predecessors "Let It Beast" and "The Beastles" received!
As the creator of both Bootie Boston and Bootie Atlanta, dj BC is known for more than just simply mashing up songs. He re-works the music into wholly new compositions, and has produced many other well-regarded mashup albums, such as "Wu Orleans," (Wu-Tang Clan vs. jazz), "Ziggy Stardust Remixed," and the annual "Santastic" holiday mashup compilations. Don't miss this rare appearance on the West Coast!
Joining him on the decks will be Bootie SF's resident DJ Adrian, as well as LA's own ShyBoy. Bootie LA's resident dance crew R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance) will be busting out a Beastlicious number for the MidnightMashup Show, as well as providing the on-stage go-go eye candy, and house photographers SceneSnaps will be there with their Photo Booth, ready to capture all the action!
