It's Bootie LA's Cinco De Mayo Mashup Party! To help celebrate the holiday, Bootie’s own DJs ShyBoy and Faroff will be spinning the best mashups from around the world, as well as some Spanish-language mashups tossed into the mix!
Of course, resident dance crew R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance) will be taking over the stage all night with their eye-popping antics and go-go dancing, as well as a special Cinco de Mayo Midnight Mashup Show! All this, plus FREE Bootie mashup CDs for the first 100 people through the door!
Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents.
