This month, Bootie LA – LA's original mashup bootleg party – celebrates eight years of mashing it up in Los Angeles! To mark its 8-Year Anniversary, Bootie is proud to present the return of Smash-Up Derby, the house band at Bootie SF, and the world's first mashup rock band. They'll be hitting the stage with their own brand of live rock mashups at 11 PM. From San Francisco, resident DJs – and creators of Bootie – A Plus D, will be on the decks, spinning fresh mashups, along with the classics from the past eight years. They'll be joined by LA's own DJ ShyBoy, who will not only be joining Smash-Up Derby for a couple numbers, but will singing a few of his own mashups live.

For the Midnight Mashup Show, there will be a special performance from the drag musical "Love, Connie," as well as the on-stage antics and awesome go-go eye candy of Bootie LA's infamous resident dance crew, R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance). All this, plus the SceneSnaps.com Photo Booth! And there are free Bootie LA 8-Year Anniversary CDs -- with 20 of the past year's best mashups -- for the first 300 people through the door! Come help Bootie celebrate its 8th birthday!
